My CD's came today! My family is enjoying the wonderful music with me now. So happy am I! Over 30 years of waiting, seeking and wanting... and all I can say- worth it! Thank you also for the note included :) Nice touch. Please come south of the border to Bellingham, WA

I first heard Ted Wesley's music in 1979, in a class about the Arctic at Western Washington University. My professor gave me a cassette, which I played till it died. Since, I've looked high and low to find this music. Not sure of Ted's last name.

Over the years, random and periodic searches- until today, this site popped up! I googled Nahanni song, Ted. Success!

Thank you. I'm happy for the reconnect, and soon a cd will find it's way to my mailbox.

Somewhere out there are some cats related to a kitten I named Nahanni.... just another way your music keeps giving :)

Hi Ted: My name is Debi Landon. My mother Dorothy worked for the local YK tv station in the late 70's then opened a print shop. Not sure if you remember me but I took guitar lessons from you in about 78. You really supported me in performing, even giving me one of your gigs for a mental health production. Well, I've done some performing since then, for fun mostly, but have passed on what I learned from you by teaching guitar for over 14 years in the remote community I live in. You had a great impact on my life and I thank you for that. E-mail me if you'd like- debi4peace@yahoo.ca.
With sincere appreciation, Debi

Ted, I treated you for a hockey injury at Stanton YK Hospital, back in '73. Your records accompanying the 2-projector synchronised slide show you put on for the medical meeting that year are a highlight of my sojourn in the North. I will be back one day.

I first heard your music while visiting at a PWA staff house in Inuvik, and ended up working in the Arctic for 25 years. Very glad to see the songs still available. Excellent work.
Best Wishes to you and your family.

Just listened to your song "Caribou Song" & had to go on-line to find out who this artist Ted Wesley is. Our local radio station has been playing your stuff for years, and I enjoy it!

Hi Ted,
You may remember me. I worked at Polaris one Christmas replacing workers on the Barge. I was a friend of Andy Page who was one of the Cheif Engineers on the Barge.
I was the one who who filled the Hot Tub and Swimming pool with suds that year.
I only confessed to it after I was air-born and on my way home.
I had a wonderful time there.
Regards,
Audrey

Hi Ted. I left you a message on your FB page but wanted to do this just in case... Hope you will contact me. It's been 30+ years since I last saw you in YK and our gig at the Explorer. Anyway... hope to hear from you. All the best - Lorri

Just got off the phone with my old friend, Alex Czarnecki and he told a bit about your project. I was with CBC North TV back 1980 to 87. I remember the first Folk on the Rocks and your enchanting music. All the best

I just want to say that I grew up on your True North album and it was my dad, Ken Kline's, favorite. He was a teacher in Tuk in 69 and the early 70's, and he loved to listen to it when we moved down to Alberta. I think it always took him back to the place he really loved.

I heard the song about the barge coming into the harbour but it wasn t untill I experienced it first hand that I truly apprecialted this song. Live in a place like Rankin Inlet and see the first barge of the season arrife and you will see why Ted wrote this song. so true. You gave us instiration to know that we go take every sitution and makeit a positive one. thanks
